Success of ISMFA´s students at ABRSM Exams 2010! |
|
Dear parents and friends,
we are very proud to inform you about the success of your students at ABRSM Exams 2011!
The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music is an international study programme which is concluded by internationally acknowledged exams. It is not only a great motivation for students to practice, but most international primary and secondary schools require this Certificate from those students who would like to join their school orchestras. The ABRSM system is common in most European countries.
Students will receive an internationally acknowledged certificate issued by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. The practical instrumental exam takes place in the Czech Republic in the end of May beginning of April. The musical theory exam is given three times a year.

Nicole Madi successfully at The University of Manchester |
|
10/06 2010
During the successful 2009/2010 academic year, our school is sadly having to say good bye to yet another very talented young student and artist, Nicole Madi. With her beautiful singing and piano playing during the Jazz Concert, Nicole moved not only her audience, but also her long-term piano teacher MgA. Lada Jirásková. The long-lasting ovation is proof that she really deserves her success in being accepted to study at The University of Manchester .
Our school is again very pleased that we can be proud of our involvement with great and hard-working students, who have been taught by excellent ISMFA teachers for several years.
We thank Nicole and Mrs. Jirásková for all their hard work, exertion and effort and, naturally, we wish Nicole every success. We believe that we will be hearing more of her success and we congratulate Nicole from the bottom of our hearts.

Bella Vitarigová heading for The Trinity College of Music in London |
|
10/06 2010
ISMFA said good bye to its students at the very successful Jazz Concert that took place in a beautiful hall of Nusle town hall on 10th June 2010.
The concert had a special atmosphere perhaps also because we were saying farewell to the talented student Bella Vitarigová, who had achieved an astounding success at the talent selection exams to one of the most prestigious musical academies, Trinity College of Music in London.
At the concert, Bella not only said good bye to the school, but especially to her long-term singing teacher dipl.um. Pavla Zumrová.
Bella's performance of the G. Gershwin's composition Summertime did not disappoint, and with the participation of her singer friends, she also performed a part of the children's opera The Little Sweep by the famous author B. Britten. Accompanied by a jazz trio, Bella truly demonstrated the strength and beauty of her voice as well as her infinite will and exertion.
We are taking pride in the quality work of Pavla Zumrová and Bell's own diligence, that proofs the aims and philosophy of our school.
We not only thank Bell but wish her every success from all our hearts and, on this first yet very significant one – we congratulate her.
